This Cookie Policy explains how cookies, software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers are used in connection with the VoiceScribe app and website, and how you can control them.
Cookies are small text files stored by websites. Mobile apps generally do not use browser cookies; instead they use comparable technologies such as local storage, SDKs and device identifiers (for example, the advertising identifier) to provide functionality, measure performance and, where permitted, deliver advertising.
VoiceScribe stores your content and settings locally on your device to make the App work (for example, your recordings, transcripts and preferences). This local storage is essential to the App's functionality and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
The App includes third-party SDKs that may process identifiers for specific purposes:

The free version of VoiceScribe may display advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the advertising identifier and related data to serve and measure ads. Whether ads are personalized and whether cross-app tracking occurs depends on your App Tracking Transparency choice. Learn more in Google's advertising policies.
VoiceScribe may present the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You choose whether to allow tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline ("Ask App Not to Track"), the advertising identifier will not be used to track you for that purpose. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and you can limit ad personalization in Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
This website is intentionally lightweight. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser may store strictly necessary data required to display the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
